Puzzle two, 2 Down "React strangely in the back half of Serbia" = bacteria? Ok, I get the anagram of "react" inside the "bia" of Serbia, but there's no direct definition! I had already found another example of missing DD in the first puzzle, figured it was a fluke but here it is again in puzzle 2. He also includes filler words that play no part in the clue. I want my money back.
I love this book. A lot of the cryptic crosswords are way too hard for me, and I have been working them for several years. This one is just right.
